Catherine Evans

Catherine Evans is a trauma informed social worker, somatic practitioner and multiple intelligences, and facilitator of women's healing spaces based in Western Australia.

She holds a Degree in Social Work, a Diploma of Professional Coaching, and is certified in mBIT Coaching, Embodied Processing (Centre for Healing), and Level 3 Deep Brain Reorienting — specialised trainings that enables her to work with nervous system patterns and trauma responses at a body-led, somatic level rather than a purely cognitive one.

On paper, Catherine has the credentials. But what shapes her work most is her lived experience: two decades of raising four children including neurodivergent children with additional support needs, years of carrying emotional responsibility in her family system, and her own personal journey through chronic nervous system stress, self-disconnection, and eventually — through somatic healing — finding her way back to herself.

She built the Reclaiming Herself Map because it is the process she needed and couldn't find. And she has spent the last 2.5 years refining it with the mothers she supports.
